The webinar will be presented by our French expert Ms Hélène Morillot (mechanical engineer specialized in the failure analysis of metallic materials). She is a failure analysis engineer of CETIM (Technical Institute of the French mechanical industry).


Failure analysis of simple parts or complex systems that exhibit cracks or mechanical failures:

  • Preliminary investigation, with, if needed, expertise on site
  • Selection of the adequate analysis program depending on the context and desired objectives
  • Morphological analysis to determine the failure mechanisms
  • Metallurgical analyses to check the material quality and its compliance with the specifications
  • Conclusions on the possible scenario of the failure, with determination of the root causes<.li>
