Procor Webinar: On Site Real-Time Monitoring Solution for Cathodic Protection

Corrosion is a naturally occurring redox reaction that weakens structures by consuming metals. Cathodic protection (CP) is a crucial method to slow down this process by either adding a more reactive sacrificial material or applying an electrical current to the structure. While preventive measures can significantly reduce corrosion damage, implementing an additional safeguard system can effectively manage metal surface corrosion rates and enhance asset integrity.

On-site monitoring for CP improves this process by continuously overseeing and managing the CP system’s effectiveness in real time. This solution includes sensors, data loggers, and communication devices that collect and transmit data on the electrochemical conditions of the protected structure. By providing immediate feedback and alerts, it ensures that the CP system is functioning optimally, detects potential issues early, and aids in making informed maintenance decisions to prevent corrosion-related failures.

We are excited to demonstrate Procor and its monitoring capabilities. This webinar aims to provide stakeholders with the knowledge to make strategic decisions on cathodic protection systems and to highlight the advantages of incorporating a monitoring system in CP.
