Technician / Senior Technician (Certified ASNT – Level 2 for Acoustic Emission Testing)
Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on all types of equipment at industrial sites, including Acoustic Emission Testing on storage tanks, pressure vessels, pipelines or other type of structure. The main duties will include:
- Participation in the drafting of commercial proposals (depending on the profile)
- Preparation of missions (organizing the intervention schedule, preparing the equipment)
- Preparation of safety documents
- Performing on-site inspections (or in the laboratory)
- Writing inspection reports.
The position is based in Singapore. Many trips are expected (at least 50% of the time), mainly within Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and occasionally in APAC and Middle East Region.
Required Profile:
- NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with good knowledge of NDT
- Main skills:
- Driver’s license
- NDT (at least AET Level II following ASNT or ISO 9712 certification systems.
- Strong awareness of HSSE issues
- Personal qualities and behavioral skills:
- Autonomy, Rigour, and method
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work on-site
- Good writing skills
- Analytical skills, ability to synthesize information
- Good interpersonal skills
