Fatigue Design 2021 opts for a hybrid approach!

The ninth edition of the world congress dedicated to fatigue in mechanical components and equipment has opted for a combined face-to-face and virtual format.

The ninth edition of Fatigue Design will be held on 17 & 18 November 2021. The congress dedicated to announcing innovative approaches and scientific progress in the design and extended life cycles of mechanical components and equipment, particularly those intended for industrial applications, has adopted an all-new hybrid format for the occasion.

The event combines face-to-face and virtual sessions involving participants from around the world over the two days. The event will include presentations in a wide range of fields, from design methods, to digital and experimental validation methods, fatigue in extreme environments (corrosion, low temperatures, etc.) and fatigue in vibrating environments, to complex loads, thermal and thermomechanical fatigue and the consideration of manufacturing processes (the effects of microstructure, welding, residual stresses).

It is worth taking note that this ninth edition focuses on the contributions of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence to the fatigue design world, particularly with the proposed Keynotes.
