The Cetim Academy training course “Painting metallic parts” provides an understanding of influential parameters (part design, surface preparation, selection of paint and implementation processes, quality monitoring, rework of defects, etc.) and controlling subcontracting to obtain parts that meet quality criteria. This module addresses the main aspects such as the type of substrates, surface preparation before paint application depending on the metal in question (products, processes), types of available paints as well as factors such as quality and regulation, including health and safety in the paint workshops.
It should be noted that each topic is covered through practical work in the form of quizzes, case studies, group research and exercises. The module is intended for managers and technicians of painting workshops, as well as engineers and technicians from design offices and process planning, quality control and environment departments. It is available as an in-company course and can be offered in English.
